WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. --- Junior swimmer Stacy Flick has been named the Lycoming College Warrior of the Week for Nov. 2.

Flick (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) was a key part in the Lady Warriors season opening win, 108.5-96.5 at home against Albright College Saturday, Oct. 31. It marked Lycoming's first victory versus Albright since head coach Jerry Hammaker took over the program in 2001.

Flick scored 18 points with her two first-place victories. She finished the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 26.28 and the 200-yard breaststroke at 2:33.80.

The Lady Warriors return to the pool on Saturday, Nov. 7, when they head to their first road meet of the season. Lycoming will swim against Ursinus College, starting at 2 p.m.

Lycoming’s sports information office will announce a Warrior of the Week through the 2009-10 academic year. The athletes will be featured on the homepage of the athletics Web site at athletics.lycoming.edu
