The first Warrior woman to defend her Warrior of the Week title since January 2016, junior Emily Hepner has earned her second career Warrior of the Week award. The volleyball team's libero had 117 digs over course of five matches to lead Warriors to a 3-2 week. She posted 18 digs in three-set win over Albright to start the week before earning Lycoming Tip-Off Tournament All-Tournament Team honors. During the tournament, she posted 19 digs against Alfred State in a four-set win before notching a career-high 38, tied for eighth-most in program history, in a five-set win over SUNY Canton. Hepner finished week with 21 digs a piece against Penn State Behrend and Misericordia. In all, the junior averaged 5.85 digs per set with just seven receiving errors in 20 sets while raising her season average to 4.65 digs per set, which is third in the MAC Commonwealth. She also added six aces and 13 assists and became fourth player in school history to post 1,400 career digs during the week.
