A four-year letterwinner with the Warriors, Becca Painter is set for her third season as an assistant coach in 2022-23.
Painter started her tenure as an assistant coach in 2019-20, helping the team to a 15-11 record and the team's fifth straight appearance in the MAC Commonwealth Championship tournament.
A guard during her playing career, Painter improved her scoring, assist and rebound averages throughout her career, as she found a spot in the starting lineup during her junior year and never left. As a senior, she was a key part of the team's success as it went 18-9 and reached the MAC Commonwealth Championship. That season, she had career-highs of 8.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.1 3-pointers made per game.
Painter finished her career with 502 points, 215 rebounds, 158 assists and 80 steals. She helped the team to four MAC Commonwealth Championship appearances as the team went 64-40 (.615) in her career.
Painter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in ecology from Lycoming in 2019 and she works for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
