A former assistant coach at Hobart College, Trey Blanding is set for his second year as an assistant coach with the men's basketball program in 2025-26.
Blanding worked with the Statesmen from 2015-17, helping the team to the Liberty League final in 2017.
A four-year letterwinner at Hobart, Blanding was a team captain and second-team all-league pick as a senior after he helped the Statesmen earn three bids to the NCAA Division III Championship and win two conference titles in his first three years.Â
Blanding earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics and philosophy from Hobart in 2015, earning four All-Academic Liberty League honors in his career. A native of Cleona, Pa., where he played for Coach Linebaugh at Annville-Cleona High School, Blanding has worked as a personal trainer with TMB Fit, LLC, since 2018.
