A former manager at the University of Iowa, Tommy O'Connor is set for his second year as an assistant coach with the Lycoming College men's basketball program.
In his first year with the team, O'Connor helped mold a young team that featured 10 freshman. The team developed into one of the best programs in the Commonwealth Conference, finishing first in the regular season with a 13-3 record. The Warriors finished the year with an 18-8 overall record.

With the Hawkeyes, O'Connor served the past two seasons as the team's head student manager, where he coordinated team meals, team travel and oversaw six other student managers. He also assisted the coaching staff in planning recruiting visits and assisted the coaching staff with the breakdown and coding game and practice film. O'Connor also assisted in the preparation of scouting reports for players and coaches and assisted at the Iowa Basketball Summer Camp and Chris Street Golf Outing.

O'Connor was a varsity basketball player in high school at Crystal Lake South in Crystal Lake, Ill. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Iowa in 2014.
