Fresh off a record-breaking playing career for Lycoming College, Danny DeLucas will stay on as an assistant coach for the team in 2026.
After transferring from Rio Hondo College, where he played in 2022-23, DeLucas starred as a senior in his final collegiate season in 2025, slashing .410/.492/.506 with 10 doubles, a triple, a home run, and 24 RBI for the Warriors, while helping Lycoming set a school record for wins (21) and reaching the Landmark Conference Tournament for the first time in program history.
DeLucas also set school records for hits (64) and runs scored (38) as a senior and was named a First Team All-Landmark Conference selection, while also being named a First Team All-Region V selection by the American Baseball Coaches Association and a D3baseball.com Second Team All-Region pick.
DeLucas graduated in January 2026 from Lycoming with a bachelor of arts in managerial economics.
