WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – For the third straight year, the Lycoming College women's lacrosse team earned a spot as an Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Association Academic Honor Squad while a record seven Warriors earned a slot on the organization's Honor Roll, it announced on Wednesday, July 22.
 
To qualify for the Academic Honor Squad, athletes must carry a 3.5 cumulative GPA and have reached at least junior academic standing.
 
Junior Haley Balgavy (Warrenton, Va./Kettle Run), senior Anna Glantz (Wysox, Pa./Homeschooled), junior Maddie Kracker (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area), junior Mychaela McDowell (Wilmington, Del./John Dickinson School), senior Autumn Shahan (Wilmington, Del./Wilmington Charter), junior Sarah Spring (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport Area) and junior Molly Strayer (Newark, Del./John Dickinson School) earned honor squad accolades.
 
To qualify for the Academic Honor Squad award, the women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year. 357 collegiate programs earned the honor, including Drew, Elizabethtown, Susquehanna, Scranton, Catholic and Wilkes in the Landmark Conference.
 
The Warriors finished 4-12 overall and 1-8 in the Landmark Conference under second-year head coach Meaghan Smith in 2026.
