Llorente, Lindsey lead Warriors in 10-0 rout of Moravian

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Senior A.J. Llorente (Williamsport, Pa./Montoursville Area) pitched six shutout innings and wrapped three hits and senior Brody Lindsey (Monrovia, Md./DeMatha Catholic) had three hits, including a double and a homer, to lead the Lycoming College baseball team, which beat Moravian University, 10-0, in Landmark Conference action to wrap up the 2026 season on Saturday, May 2, at Gillespie Field.

The Warriors finished 18-21 overall and 11-13 in the Landmark Conference under fourth-year head coach Rick Oliveri.

Llorente (5-1) tossed six innings, allowing three hits and two walks, striking out four to finish his two years with the Warriors with a 9-3 record on the mound, as he tied for the team lead in wins with a 3.83 ERA in 47 innings this year. For good measure, he was 3-for-4 with two runs, a triple and a RBI, as he led the Warriors with a .375 average.

Lindsey, Lycoming's all-time leader in home runs (17) and the single-season leader in doubles (17) expanded on both those, as he drilled a two-run homer in the third inning and blasted a RBI double to right center as part of a six-run frame. He finishes the season with a .356 average and 1.028 OPS, as he went 3-for-4 with two runs and four RBI.

A double steal got the Warriors on the board in the third inning, with senior Sean Perkins (Berlin, N.J./Eastern Regional) scoring on a throwing error on the play, setting up Lindsey's two-run shot a moment later. In the fifth, the Warriors added another run off an RBI single up the middle from Lindsey to score senior Nick Reeder (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area), who finished his career with a Lycoming record 174 hits and 133 runs.

In the seventh, the Warriors salted the game away with six runs, with Llorente tripling in Perkins for the first run before Lindsey hit his RBI double to score Llorente. First-year Grant Vilello (Cogan Station, Pa./Williamsport Area) singled in Lindsey in his first collegiate at-bat before first-year Rhys Evans (New Market, Md./Oakdale) singled him in. A groundout brought senior Nick Hoheb (Brick, N.J./Brick Township) in before Reeder singled in Evans with the 10th Warrior run.

First-year Bryce Brungard (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) struck out two in the seventh to close the door on the Greyhounds (13-24 overall, 6-18 Landmark).

Matt Snyder (2-3) took the loss for Moravian, allowing eight hits and three runs in four innings. Troy Rabosky led the Moravian offense, going 2-for-3.
