WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.— Junior goalkeeper Evan Donnelly (Hanover, Md. / Archbishop Spaulding) made 20 saves for the Lycoming College men's lacrosse team, which fell 24-0 in a Landmark Conference matchup against Elizabethtown College on Friday, April 3 at UPMC Field.
Donnelly eclipsed 20 saves for the third time this season, finishing just two shy of his career high for Lycoming (2-8, 0-4 Landmark).
Donnelly and first-year Samuel Hall (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) each had three groundballs and senior Cole Slezak (Butler, Pa./Kitski Prep) caused two turnovers.
Elizabethtown (4-8, 3-1 Landmark) was led by Reese Levinson (six goals, three assists) and Tristan Coleman (four goals, five assists), who each registered nine points and Jay Rodriguez added four goals.
Lycoming fired 18 shots in the contest, forcing three Blue Jay keepers to make six saves.
The Warriors will be back in action on Wednesday, April 8 when they host Goucher College in a Landmark Conference matchup. Opening draw is scheduled for 4 p.m. From UPMC Field.
