WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Senior
A.J. Llorente (Williamsport, Pa./Montoursville Area) tossed a two-hit shutout in his first Landmark Conference start of the season and the Lycoming College baseball team wrapped 14 hits and used a seven-run seventh inning to down the Catholic University of America, 11-0, on Sunday, March 22, at Talbot Field.

Llorente (1-0) allowed two hits, a walk and a hit batter, allowing just two runners to reach second base and retiring the last 14 batters he faced, striking out four Cardinals (11-8 overall, 2-5 Landmark).

Miles Pealer (Sewickley, Pa./North Allegheny) broke open a scoreless tie in the fifth, scoring Hoheb, who led off with a double. Pinch-runner Guzman came around to score on a two-out double from senior
Nick Reeder (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area) and an error allowed Llorente to score. In the sixth, Hoheb scored MacCluen with a one-out single to score the team's fourth run.
