Donnelly posts 21 saves against Marywood

SCRANTON, Pa. – Junior Evan Donnelly (Hanover, Md./Archbishop Spalding) led the Lycoming College men's lacrosse team with 21 saves on Wednesday night, Feb. 25, as the team fell to Marywood, 8-2, at Pacers Athletic Field.
 
The Warriors (0-3 overall) scored two third-quarter goals, with first-year Samuel Hall (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) finding the back of the net for the third straight game with 10:38 left and junior Brogan Wooley (Hampton, N.J./Morris Catholic) added a man-up goal with 1:44 left.
 
Hall and first-year Kyle Kunes (Joppa, Md./Joppatowne) each picked up six ground balls for the Warriors and sophomore James Hall-Melnychuck (Magnolia, N.J./Sterling) posted four. First-year Jack Mulholland (Lake Hiawatha, N.J./Morris Catholic) added two caused turnovers.
 
The Pacers (3-0 overall) were led by three goals and three assists by Ben Meighan. Luke Ament led the team with 12 groundballs and Colin Trainor posted nine saves.
 
The Warriors get back on the field on Saturday, Feb. 28, when they host Allegheny College at 4 p.m., at UPMC Field.
