WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After a three-sack performance against Western Connecticut State, Lycoming College sophomore Trinity Hill-Caleb (Suitland, Md./Suitland) has been recognized as a defensive end on the D3Football.com Team of the Week for the period of October 18-25, the website announced on Tuesday, Oct. 27.
 
Hill-Caleb paced the defense in Lycoming's 48-7 victory over WestConn, as he recorded five tackles, all for loss, and secured three sacks. Additionally, Hill-Caleb forced two fumbles, one of which led to Lycoming's go-ahead score in the first quarter. His efforts contributed to Lycoming's defense restricting WestConn to 177 total yards, including just 18 rushing yards, after they entered the game averaging 382.2 yards prior to the matchup.
 
Hill-Caleb leads the Landmark Conference with 1.5 tackles for loss per game and he is fourth in the conference with 4.5 sacks. His three forced fumbles are third in the league. He is eighth on the team with 32 tackles.
 
Hill-Caleb is the first Warrior defensive end to earn a spot on the D3football.com Team of the Week since Cole Welham earned the honors in 2014. He joins junior Aiden Barlett (Hughesville, Pa./Hughesville), who earned the honor as a kick returner in week two after returning a kick for a touchdown against Montclair State.
 
The Warriors will finish their home schedule against Susquehanna University this weekend in a battle of the top two teams in the Landmark Conference. The contest will kick off at 1 p.m. from David Person Field at Girardi Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 31.
