WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sophomore Jace Bennett (Falling Waters, W.Va./Spring Mills) stopped four shots to secure the Lycoming College men's soccer team's second straight shutout in a 0-0 draw with Ursinus College on Saturday evening, Sept. 6, at UPMC Field.
 
Bennett made a diving save to his left with less than two minutes remaining in regulation off a hard shot from Enver Desic, helping him finish with four saves, as Ursinus (0-2-1 overall) fired nine shots in the game.
 
The Warriors (0-2-2 overall) forced Ursinus keeper Josiah Moore to make three saves off 10 shots, with first-year Jacob Wojciechowski (Newark, Del./Caravel Academy) taking three shots to lead the team. First-year Leandro Cruz (Nottingham, Md./Loyola Blakefield fired a hard-low shot on net in the 86^th minute, but Moore was able to smother it.
 
The Warriors get back on the field on Saturday, Sept. 13, when they visit Mount Aloysius for a 2 p.m. non-conference game.
