CRESSON, Pa. – Senior
Christian Woobay (Gaithersburg, Md./Quince Orchard) led the Lycoming College men's soccer team, which snapped a three-game scoreless stretch just 11 minutes into Saturday afternoon, Sept. 13's game, as Lycoming beat Mount Aloysius, 3-0, at Kelly Field.

The Warriors (1-2-2 overall) got on the board with a goal from first-year
Leandro Cruz (Nottingham, Md./Loyola Blakefield) off a give from Woobay. Cruz returned the favor on Woobay's goal in the 21
st minute, giving Lycoming a 2-0 lead at halftime.

Just over a minute into the second half, sophomore
Jake Keeney (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) dented the twine, with Woobay and junior
Aidan Stillman (Silver Spring, Md./Albert Einstein) each earning assists.

Jace Bennett (Falling Waters, W.Va./Spring Mills) earned his third straight shutout, making three saves in the win off seven Mount Aloysius (4-2 overall) shots. Sam Denchfield stopped six shots for the Mounties, as he saw 18 shots from the Warriors.

The Warriors are back in action on Tuesday, Sept. 16, when Gettysburg visits UPMC Field for a 7 p.m. game.
