WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Four first-half goals helped lift the Lycoming College field hockey team to a 4-1 win over Keuka College on Saturday, Sept. 6, in non-conference action at UPMC Field.

Halie Woodring (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) led the offense with a goal and an assist and first-year
Laurel Fite (Shermans Dale, Pa./West Perry) contributed a pair of assists for the Warriors (2-1 overall).

Loghan Shelly (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central) got the team on the board midway through the first quarter off an assist from Fite before senior
Tayah Bauer (Duncannon, Pa./Susquenita) scored a minute later off a give from Woodring. Sophomore
Lacy Eckard (Muncy, Pa./Muncy) added a third first-quarter goal with 4:03 left in the quarter off a give from junior
Carmen Hannon (Aldie, Va./John Champe).

In the second quarter, Woodring scored the final goal off a give from Fite. Keuka added the last score with 23 seconds left from Anna Dewey.

Isabella Bobé (York Springs, Pa./Bermudian Springs) posted two saves in the win. Khadeeja Reed stopped six for Keuka, as the Wolves (0-2 overall) faced down 14 Warrior penalty corners in the game.

The Warriors get back on the field on Tuesday, Sept. 9, when they head to Misericordia for a 7 p.m. start.
