WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Junior
Terrence Oliver (Sharon Hill, Pa./Academy Park) rushed for 298 yards, the second-most in program history, and scored three touchdowns to lead the Lycoming College football team, which fell to Dickinson College, 52-29, on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 20, at David Person Field at Girardi Stadium.

Oliver scored on rushes of 73 and 89 yards, as he rolled up a career-high 298 yards, just one shy of the program record of 299 set by Craig Needhammer against FDU-Florham in 2014, on just 22 carries. He also caught a three-yard touchdown pass, and finished the game with 332 all-purpose yards, just seven shy of Needhammer's record of 339 from 2014.

Ross Eyer (Muncy, Pa./Muncy Area) had six catches for 67 yards and a touchdown, Oliver had four catches for 34 yards and a score and senior
Brendan Clark (Montoursville, Pa./Loyalsock Township) had three catches for 38 yards. Sophomore
Joe Lyons III (Margate City, N.J./Atlantic City) was 19-of-37 for 182 yards, tossing two touchdowns and two interceptions, as he helped Lycoming (0-3) rack up 510 yards of total offense.

Dickinson (2-1) was paced by Cedric Benning III, who rushed for 173 yards and a touchdown and Dane Sorenson, who ran for 131 yards. Kellen Boyer caught four passes for 77 yards and a score. Ben Klassen finished 19-of-32 for 266 yards and three touchdowns.

Matt Trolinger (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle) led the Warriors with 10 tackles and sophomore
JayVon Story (Philadelphia, Pa./West Catholic) had eight. Sophomore
Daniel Atsou (Capitol Heights, Md./Suitland) had six tackles, three for loss and senior
Ryan Pentz (Mill Hall, Pa./Central Mountain) had an interception.

Chris Barnes led the Red Devils with 10 tackles, an interception and two breakups. Julien Devlin forced a fumble and Sean Couvetiere had an interception.

Oliver cut loose on a 73-yard rush in the first quarter to give Lycoming a 7-3 lead before Keesean Campbell gave the lead back to the Devils with an 88-yard kickoff return. Eyer caught a 24-yard touchdown pass with 2:34 left to give Lycoming a 14-10 lead at the end of the first.

Dickinson scored the next four touchdowns to lead 38-14 before Oliver broke free on his 89-yard run, which is the fourth-longest in program history and the longest Lycoming rush since Needhammer had a 90-yard rush against Misericordia in 2014. Oliver also capped a six-play, 35-yard drive with 6:24 left before Clark made a leaping catch of a two-point conversion in the back of the end zone to make it 45-29. Dickinson scored the final points of the game with 3:21 left.

The Warriors are back at David Person Field at Girardi Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 27, for a noon kickoff against Rowan University.
