PITTSBURGH, Pa. – First-year
Kamryn Skeith (Monroe, Wash./Sultan) notched her fourth triple-double of the season and the Lycoming College women's volleyball team had four other players finish with four kills as it defeated La Roche, 3-1 (20-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-17) to kick off a tri-match at Chatham University's Athletic & Fitness Center on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 13. The Warriors fell to the hosts, 3-1 (18-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-22).

Skeith posted 10 kills, 14 assists and 12 digs against the Redhawks (2-3 overall) to lead the team, while first-years
Charlene Petreshock (Warwick, N.Y./Warwick Valley) and
Emi Wenger (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley), junior
Alli Macensky (Galeton, Pa./Galeton Area) and senior
Cameron Upcraft (Spring Mills, Pa./Penns Valley) each posted seven kills.

Wenger added 18 digs, tied for the team lead with junior
Ima Mercado (Mifflintown, Pa./Juniata), who also had two aces. Junior
Haley Balgavy (Warrenton, Va./Kettle Run) added 19 assists, four aces and six digs, Macensky added two aces and Upcraft posted two blocks.

The Warriors (4-6 overall) held the Redhawks to a .095 hitting percentage, with Kalli Grine posting 12 kills and 11 digs. Estelle Winck posted 28 assists and Kaci DePalma added 25 digs and three aces.

Skeith posted eight kills, 12 assists, six aces, seven digs and three blocks against Chatham (5-1 overall), as the Warriors won the first set before narrowly falling in the next three.

Upcraft also notched eight kills, seven digs and two blocks and Macensky posted five blocks. Wenger posted 10 digs, two aces and four kills, Balgavy added 13 assists and 13 digs and Mercado notched 14 digs.

Becca Gesner and Maren Balint each posted 12 kills, Ava Plunkard added 20 assists, Alexia Bowers had three aces and Sierra Ricci posted 29 digs.

The Warriors get back on the court on Tuesday, Sept. 16, when they host Penn State-Altoona in Lamade Gym at 7 p.m.
