Tayah Bauer (Duncannon, Pa./Susquenita) scored in the fourth quarter to highlight the efforts of the Lycoming College field hockey team, which fell to Misericordia University, 3-1, in non-conference action at Mangelsdorf Field on Tuesday night, Sept. 9.

Abigail O'Donnell led the Cougars with a goal and an assist, as Misericordia (3-0 overall) posted a goal in the first quarter and two in a two-minute span in the third. Lycoming (2-2 overall) closed the gap as Bauer scored off a give from senior
Riley Marines (East Berlin, Pa./Bermudian Springs) with 5:28 left.

Misericordia held a 18-7 advantage in shots, but the Warriors held an 8-7 lead in penalty corners.

Isabella Bobé (York Springs, Pa./Bermudian Springs) stopped six shots in net and Sarah Bogina earned the win for Misericordia.

The Warriors get back in action on Sunday, Sept. 14, when they head to Allegheny College for a 2 p.m. start.
