Kailey Stocker (Ringwood, N.J. / Lakeland Regional) added six to guide the Lycoming College women's lacrosse team to a 21-16 victory over Elizabethtown College in Landmark Conference action on Saturday afternoon, March 29, at UPMC Field.
Alongside her nine goals, Block also had two assists to become the eighth player in program history to reach 200 career points, and she made three caused turnovers to lead the Warriors (6-1 overall, 1-1 Landmark). Senior
Alexa Baldwin (Bel Air, Md. / Harford Tech) contributed six assists, moving within three of the school's career record of 118, and two goals. Senior
Katie Maguire (Garnerville, N.Y. / Albertus Magnus) and Baldwin each snatched six ground balls.
Stocker kicked off the Warriors' first-period scoring with a goal 40 seconds into play. Block followed up with a free-position shot in the second minute and goals in the third, fourth and ninth minutes. With 1:48 on the clock, Elizabethtown (6-3 overall, 1-1 Landmark) tied the score at 5.
Less than a minute into the second period, Stocker darted down the field to give the Warriors a brief, one-point advantage, which Elizabethtown met moments later. The Blue Jays pulled ahead by two points before Block returned in the sixth minute, closing the gap to one. Baldwin followed up in the ninth minute, tying the game at 8. Elizabethtown widened their lead to 11-9 before the Warriors rallied in the final minute, adding back-to-back goals. Stocker added the first goal with 47 seconds left on the clock, and Maguire followed up with a free-position goal with 20 seconds remaining.
Following halftime, Elizabethtown posted two goals in the first three minutes, claiming a short lead. Stocker and Maguire responded in the seventh and eighth minutes respectively to tie the game at 13. Stocker and Block each contributed two goals in the last seven minutes, ending the quarter with a four-point advantage, 17-13.
The Warriors widened their lead in the fourth quarter with Baldwin posting a goal in the fifth minute and Block notching one in the seventh. First-year
Emily Reese (Kingsville, Md. / Eastern Tech) added two goals to end the period — one during the eighth minute and the second with 48 seconds on the clock.

Emma Yanders (Kempton, Pa. / Northwestern Lehigh) saved 17 shots in the cage for the Warriors. In the cage for Elizabethtown, Rachel Murphy stopped 13 shot attempts.
Lauren Puntanen led Elizabethtown's efforts with five goals, and Megan Meyer followed with four. Drew Bridges contributed three caused turnovers and two assists.
The Warriors travel to Scranton, Pa., on Wednesday, April 2, to play against the University of Scranton in Landmark Conference action at 4 p.m.
