NEW TRIPOLI, Pa. – Sophomore Connor Shanahan (Chester Springs, Pa./Downingtown East) led the Lycoming College golf team with a 89 on the second day of the DeSales Spring Classic at the par-72, 6,615-yard Olde Homestead Golf Course on Saturday, March 29.
 
Shanahan had four pars during the round. Sophomores Ross Eyer (Muncy, Pa./Muncy) and Christian Eppley (Woodbridge, Va./Colgan) each shot a 91 and sophomore Will Eberz (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) rounded out the scoring four with a 93.
 
Shanhan finished tied for 53^rd in the 68-golfer field with a two-day 173 (84-89) and Eberz took 56^th at 175 (82-93). Eyer finished with a 185 (94-91) and Eppley had a 187 (96-91). Senior Branson Dodson (Duncansville, Pa./Central) finished with a 208 (111-97).
 
The Warriors finished with total score at the two-round event with a 720 (356-364) to take 13^th.
 
Lycoming gets back on the course on Friday, April 11, when they head to the Penn State-Altoona Invitational at Sinking Valley Country Club. Tee-off is set for 1 p.m.
