TOWSON, Md. - The Lycoming College women's tennis team faced a 5-2 setback against Goucher in Landmark Conference action on Saturday, March 22.

Junior Greta Kimble (South Williamsport, Pa. / South Williamsport) and first-year Yeanneth Rosado (Temple, Pa. / Muhlenberg) earned the points for the team in No. 5 and No. 6 singles.

In No. 1 singles, senior Rei Saar (Montoursville, Pa. / Montoursville Area) rallied against Goucher's Lucy Ingraham, finishing 6-4, 6-3. Senior Sarah Lanphear (Chittenango, N.Y. / Chittenango) also started strong in No. 4 singles against Sarai Silveira with a 6-4, 6-1 finish. Junior Emma Kelchner (Nescopeck, Pa. / Central Columbia) and first-year Sadie Stahl (Duboistown, Pa. / South Williamsport) also competed in singles play.

In No. 1 doubles, Saar and Kelchner kept Lucy Ingraham and Eliza Abady on their toes, finishing 6-4. Lanphear and Stahl followed suit in No. 2 doubles, posting a 6-4 finish.

The Warrior women fell to 7-3 overall and 0-3 in the Landmark Conference. Goucher rose to 3-5 overall and 1-1 in the Landmark Conference.

The Warriors will travel to Westminster, Md., on Sunday, March 23, for non-conference action against McDaniel College at 12 p.m.
