Lindsey earns Landmark Athlete of the Week award

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – After hitting the first home run in the Landmark Conference in 2025, junior third baseman Brody Lindsey (Monrovia, Md./DeMatha Catholic) has earned the Landmark Conference's first Athlete of the Week award of the season, the conference office announced on Tuesday, Feb. 18.

After going hitless in the first game of the year, Lindsey was 4-for-8 with four runs, a double, a homer and three RBI in the last two games against Greensboro. He had a double and two RBI in the second game of the series and followed that with his first NCAA homer and three runs in the final game on Sunday.

Lindsey is second on the team with a .364 (4-of-11) batting average and he leads the team with four runs, three RBI, a .727 slugging percentage and 1.189 OPS.

He is Lycoming's first Landmark Athlete of the Week since senior Danny DeLucas (Whittier, Calif./La Serna) earned the award on March 4, 2024.

The Warriors are back on the field on Saturday, Feb. 22, when they head to the University of Maryland's Smith Stadium for a 2 p.m. doubleheader with Marymount Universtity (Va.).
