WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—Senior forward Christian Woobay (Gaithersburg, Md. / Quince Orchard) closed out his stellar collegiate career by earning a selection to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III All-Region V men's soccer Second Team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday, Dec. 2.
Woobay was an all-region selection for the second season in a row, after earning a Third Team pick in 2024. He is the 10th Warrior all-time to earn multiple all-region accolades and the first since Brayden Wise earned selections in 2021-22.
The senior tied for second in the conference in goals (6), finished second in total points (15) and third in points per game (0.79). He also added three assists. His season was highlighted by a four-point night (one goal, two assists) against Mount Aloysius on Sept. 13, earning him Landmark Conference Player of the Week accolades.
He was named First Team All-Landmark Conference for the second year in a row after being tabbed to the conference second team in 2023, becoming the first Warrior to earn first-team honors twice from the Landmark Conference.
Woobay finished his career with 21 goals, tied for 14th in program history, and 14 assists, for 56 points, also 14th in program history, while his nine game-winning goals are tied for fifth. The Gaithersburg, Md., native was the first Warrior to reach 50 career points since Jordan Logan reached the mark in 2017.
The Warriors finished 7-7-5 in 2025 under second-year head coach John Schwein, including a five-match unbeaten streak that propelled Lycoming into the Landmark Conference Championship semifinals for the second time in three years.
