WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Six Lycoming College women's soccer players received 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team honors: seniors
Kate Finkbeiner (Warrenton, Va. / Fauquier),
Abigail Umhoefer (Poughkeepsie, N.Y. / Our Lady of Lourdes),
Aubrey Williamson (Lititz, Pa. / Warwick), and
Hannah Wood (Nottingham, Pa. / Solanco), as well as juniors
Ella Magee (Selinsgrove, Pa. / Selinsgrove Area) and
Norah Mosley (Robbinsville, N.J. / Allentown), as announced by the organization on Tuesday, Nov. 25.
Eligible student-athletes must classify as at least a sophomore academically and carry a 3.50 minimum cumulative grade-point average. Additionally, the student-athletes must have competed in 90 percent of the institution's games/contests/sets played or have started in at least 66 percent of the games/contests/sets throughout the season. A maximum of six student-athletes can be honored from a team in soccer.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, which are selected by the College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Finkbeiner started 19 of 20 games this season as a senior defender this season, notching an assist against King's and helping the team post seven shutouts. She closed out a career in which she played in 50 games. This is her first CSC Academic honor.
Umhoefer saw action in 19 games with six starts as a senior forward. She scored eight goals and tallied four assists this season, including a hat trick against Goucher. She finished her career with 18 goals and nine assists in 76 games, tied for third-most in school history. Umhoefer was named to the CSC All-District Team for the third time, having also been honored in 2023 and '24.
Williamson started 19 of 20 games as a senior midfielder, scoring three times and notching six assists. She finished her career tied for third in school history in career games (76), while setting a program record with 26 assists, also adding 15 goals. Williamson was honored by the CSC the last two seasons as well, earning her third straight selection to the Academic All-District Team.
Wood was a steady force as a senior defender, contributing to seven Warriors shutouts this season. She started 19 of her 20 games this season and scored two goals—both in the season finale at Wilkes. Wood finished her college career with 42 starts in 60 games played, to go along with four goals scored. Wood earns CSC Academic All-District honors for the second straight season.
Magee, a junior midfielder, enjoyed a historic season with 16 goals and 13 assists, leading the Landmark Conference in both categories and setting Warriors program records in assists and points (45) over 20 games and 19 starts. Magee was a three-time Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week and earned a Second-Team selection to the Landmark Conference All-Conference Team, while she was honored by the CSC with her second selection in as many seasons to the Academic All-District Team.
Finally, Mosley, a junior defender, starred in her first season after transferring from Oberlin College with seven goals and eight assists, ranking second in the Landmark in assists and fourth in points (22). She also was a Landmark Conference Defensive Athlete of the Week honoree and was a Second Team All-Landmark selection. This is her first CSC Academic All-District Team.
Under ninth-year head coach
Kenny Fern, the Warriors went 17-2-1 and 7-1-1 in the Landmark Conference this season, setting school records for wins (17), winning percentage (.875), conference wins (7), and longest winning streak (12 straight wins). The squad also set high-water marks for goals (76), assists (48), and points (200) and reached the Landmark Conference semifinals for the second year in a row.
