HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Sophomore
Khalil Johnson (Laurel, Md./Atholton) read the screen pass and laid out a Juniata College running back for a four-yard loss before intercepting the pass on the next play to end Juniata's final drive and help Lycoming College grind out a 24-16 Landmark Conference win at Knox Stadium on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 15.

They had the opportunity to take a two-possession lead, but the Warriors forced a fumble at their one-yard line that Johnson scooped up to stop the drive. The Warriors responded with a  97-yard drive that included a 36-yard rush from Oliver that got the ball to the 10-yard line before Lyons found senior

Juniata took a 16-10 lead midway through the third quarter, but the Warriors responded with a 10-play, 70-yard drive, capping it with a one-yard rush from Ferguson. Juniata's next drive stalled at the Lycoming 21-yard line when senior
Mario Samony (Old Forge, Pa./Old Forge) made a stop on 4th-and-10. Back on offense, the Warriors threw just two passes on the ensuing 12-play drive, with Ferguson rushing the last 29 yards himself, crashing in from three yards out to make it 24-16 with 7:06 left.
