Warriors drop Elmira, 8-0

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Six Lycoming College women's soccer players scored on Wednesday night, Oct. 1, as it beat Elmira College, 8-0, at Campus Field.
 
Sophomore Ella Magee (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) notched two goals and an assist to lead the Warriors (11-0 overall), first-year Gabriella Rabinowitz (Sewell, N.J./Washington Township) also scored twice.
 
Lycoming scored five of its goals in the first half, with Magee and Rabinowitz both scoring in the fourth minute to break the seal.
 
Senior Aubrey Williamson (Lititz, Pa./Warwick), first-year Karli Dacosta (New Cumberland, Pa./Red Land), sophomore Kaitlyn Born (Hamilton, N.J./South Brunswick) and junior Norah Mosley (Robbinsville, N.J./Allentown) also added goals. Junior Mikayla Long (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg Area), junior Julia Bidelspach (Myerstown, Pa./ELCO) and senior Abigail Umhoefer (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Our Lady of Lourdes) each had an assist.
 
Sophomore Marissa Price (Hicksville, N.Y./Hicksville) posted three saves to earn the shutout. Sarah Centrell stopped seven shots in net for the Eagles (2-8 overall).
 
Lycoming gets back on the field on Saturday, Oct. 4, when it faces Drew University at 1 p.m. in a Landmark Conference game.
