WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – With three goals and an assist in her first two collegiate games, Lycoming College women's soccer's sophomore Ella Magee (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) has earned her first career Landmark Conference Offensive Athlete of the Week award, the conference office announced on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
 
Magee lifted the Warriors to a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Pitt-Greensburg in the season opener, dropping a game-tying goal late in the first half before adding a game-winning assist in the second. She followed that with two scores in a 6-0 win over Mount Aloysius.
 
The sophomore leads the Landmark Conference with seven points through the first week of the season.
 
Her brother, Owen, a senior on the men's soccer team, was named the MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 5, 2022. Ella is the first women's soccer player to earn an offensive player of the week honor since junior Aubrey Williamson (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) earned the Landmark Conference accolade on Sept. 5, 2022.
 
The Warriors are back on the field on Thursday, Sept. 5, when they face Penn State-Abington at 4 p.m. at UPMC Field.
