Warriors fall at Drew to open Landmark play

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College women's tennis team won two singles matches in a 5-2 Landmark Conference setback at Drew University on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 21.

In No. 6 singles, junior Cassandra Conner (Lebanon, Pa./Lebanon) defeated Drew's Nora Kosch 6-3, 6-2 and the Warriors also benefited from a retirement at No. 4.

The Warriors fell to 4-1 overall and 0-1 in the Landmark Conference and Drew improved to 1-0 and 1-0 in league play.

The Warriors are back in action at the Brandon Park Tennis Courts on Wednesday, Sept. 25, in a 3:30 p.m. match against Misericordia.
