ALTOONA, Pa. – Senior
Kendall Myers (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity) became the 16
th player in program history to reach 1,000 career digs to highlight the Lycoming College volleyball team's Tuesday night, Sept. 17, at Penn State-Altoona, as Lycoming fell, 3-1 (25-20, 20-25, 25-14, 25-18) in non-conference action.

Myers entered the game needing 11 digs to reach the milestone, and picked up nine in the first three sets before adding three more in the last set.

Myers was one of four Warriors (3-6 overall) to finish with double-digit digs, as sophomore
Haley Balgavy (Warrenton, Va./Kettle Run) posted 16 assists and 12 digs for her second career double-double, senior
Brynne Bisel (Julian, Pa./Bald Eagle Area) added 13 kills and 13 digs for her fifth double-double and senior
Ali Koval (Mansfield, Pa./North Penn-Mansfield) added 27 digs.

Cameron Upcraft (Spring Mills, Pa./Penns Valley) each added six kills, with Upcraft adding three blocks and first-year
Liz Mayer (Lafayette Hill, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) posting four blocks. Sophomore
Ima Mercado (Mifflintown, Pa./Juniata) also added 12 assists and five digs.

Makenna Port led the Lady Lions (6-6 overall) with 11 kills and Lia Simanski added 10 kills and 15 digs. Julia Emel had 24 assists, Taylor Myers had four aces and Anna Batrus notched 27 digs.

The Warriors get back in action on Saturday, Sept. 21, when they head to a tri-match at Delaware Valley University, facing Albright College at 1 p.m. and the hosting Aggies at 3 p.m.
