Katie Maguire (Garnerville, N.Y./Albertus Magnus) scored five goals to lead the Lycoming College women's lacrosse team, which fell to the University of Scranton, 19-8, in Landmark Conference action on Wednesday night, April 3.

Maguire, who now has 164 career goals, is six from reaching a tie for fourth in school history with Brenda MacPhail '01. Sophomore
Riley Block (Hopatcong, N.J./Morris Catholic) added three goals and nine draw controls and junior
Alexa Baldwin (Bel Air, Md./Harford Tech) added an assist to move into fourth in program history with 66 career helpers. Sophomore
Autumn Shahan (Wilmington, Del./Wilmington Charter) posted three ground balls to lead the Warriors (4-5 overall, 0-2 Landmark).

The Royals (8-2 overall, 3-0 Landmark) scored the first three goals of the game before Maguire scored her first two goals. Lycoming kept close to Scranton until a 10-1 run that lasted most of the second and third quarters, giving Scranton a 17-5 lead before Block scored her second goal.

Erin Reich and Devyn Tanajewski each had three goals and an assist for the Royals. Jillian Lopez led the team with five draws and three caused turnovers.

Senior
Zoe Stauffer (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) stopped nine shots for the Warriors. Lauren Boldis and Eva Guerino combined for five saves for the Royals.

The Warriors get back on the field on Saturday, April 6, when they host Susquehanna University in Landmark Conference action at 1 p.m.
