Will Eberz (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) fired a first-round 79 with three birdies to lead the Lycoming College men's golf team at the par-72, 6,725-yard Shawnee Golf Resort on Saturday afternoon, April 27.

The Warriors fired a 349 during the first round of the two-round tournament, as the team is in 10
th place. Drew leads the field after a first-round 293, three strokes ahead of Scranton. Â Drew's Elliot Parker leads the individuals after a five-under-par 67 in the first round, leading the 45-golfer field by five strokes.

The second round of the tournament will get underway on Sunday, April 28, at 9 a.m., at the Shawnee Golf Resort.

Eberz sits in a tie for 21
st place at seven-over-par, just two strokes outside the top 13. He birdied the par-5, 520-yard No. 3, the par-5, 492-yard No. 6 and the par-5, 567-yard No. 13 and added seven pars in his opening round.
