WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sophomore Emma Kelchner (Nescopeck, Pa./ Central Columbia) and first-year Abigail Ebel (Camp Hill, Pa./ Camp Hill) partnered to win their doubles match in a tiebreaker as the Lycoming College women's tennis team fell 8-1 to the University of Scranton on Wednesday evening, April 24 at the Brandon Park Tennis Courts in Landmark Conference play.
Kelchner and Ebel beat Julia Nocentino and Lydia Grossman 8-7 (5) in their No. 3 doubles match.
The Warriors are 3-12 overall and finish 2-7 in their first year in the Landmark Conference. Scranton improved to 8-7 overall and 6-2 in the Landmark Conference.
The Warriors will be back in action as they host King's College in non-conference action at the Brandon Park Tennis Courts on Friday, April 26, at 3:30 p.m.
