WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College men's tennis team fell to Wilkes University, 9-0, on Monday afternoon, April 22, at Brandon Park in Landmark Conference play.

In doubles play, the team of sophomore
Josh Neidert (Reading, Pa./Oley Valley) and junior
Mohamed Ebeid (Cairo, Egypt/Egyptian British International School) fell behind 7-3 before storming back with three straight wins at No. 2 doubles, but fell, 8-6.

In singles action, senior
Dominick Philip (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth Area) recovered from a 6-0 first set to lead 5-2 in the second before falling at No. 6 singles, 7-5.

The Warriors fall to 3-10 overall and 0-8 in the Landmark. The Colonels finish Landmark play with a 4-5 record and improved to 6-7.

The Warriors are back in action on Wednesday, April 24, when they wrap up Landmark Conference play with a dual meet against the University of Scranton at 4 p.m., in Brandon Park.
