Rei Saar (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area) and senior
Hiyori Iai (Zushi, Japan/Yokohama Science Frontier) notched singles wins to pace the Lycoming College women's tennis team, which fell to the Catholic University of America, 7-2, in Landmark Conference action at the Dowd Family Tennis Courts on Saturday afternoon, April 20.

Saar improved to 6-2 in singles play with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Meaghan Laniewski at No. 2 singles and Iai improved to a team-best 7-4 in singles play at No. 5, as she beat Marissa Stambaugh, 0-6, 5-2, retired.

The Warriors fell to 3-11 overall and 2-6 in the Landmark. Catholic improved to 10-10 and 5-3 in the conference.

The Warriors are back in action on Wednesday, April 24, when they host Scranton in Landmark Conference action at the Brandon Park Tennis Courts at 4 p.m.
