DANVILLE, Pa. - First-year Mikey Fry (Muncy, Pa./Muncy) led the Lycoming College golf team with a 19-over-par 91 at the Husky Spring Invitational at the par-72 6,679-yard Frosty Valley Golf Course on Thursday afternoon, April 18.
Fry notched four pars during the round to finish 31st in the field of 39. Tim Peters of Millersville earned medallist honors with a 1-over-par 73.
Millersville also won the team title with a 17-over-par 305. The Warriors finished sixth in the seven-team field with a 382.
First-year Will Eberz (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) notched a 20-over-par 92, first-year Ross Eyer (Muncy, Pa./Muncy) added a 94 and sophomore Dylan Seck (Athens, Pa./Sayre Area) added a 105.
The Warriors are back in action when they compete at their first Landmark Conference Championship on Saturday and Sunday, April 27-28, at the Shawnee Golf Resort. Both days of the tournament tee off at 9 a.m.
