STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - First-year Will Eberz (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) posted a second-round 80 to finish in a tie for 34
th to lead the Lycoming College men's golf team at the Pennsylvania D3 Classic at the par-72, 6,605-yard Penn State Golf Course Blue Course on Saturday afternoon, March 30.
Eberz posted 12 pars on the day, including six on the back nine where he was 3-over-par with a 39. Eberz finished 34th in a field of 103 golfers with a two-day 159 (79-80), helping the Warriors finish in 17th in a field of 18 teams, as the team notched a second-day 361 for a two-day total of 704.
Senior Ian Plankenhorn (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area) and sophomore Dylan Seck (Sayre, Pa./Sayre Area) each carded a 92 and sophomore
Kyle Davis (Liberty, Pa./North Penn-Liberty) added a 97 to round out the scoring four on Saturday.
Seck finished 88th with a two-day 180 (88-92), Plankenhorn 92nd with a 184 (92-92) and Davis 97th with a 198 (101-97).
The Warriors are back on the course on Saturday, April 6, when they head to Wilkes for a dual meet at Huntsville Golf Course at 12 p.m.
