Three Warriors score twice at Muhlenberg

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Junior Katie Maguire (Garnerville, N.Y./Albertus Magnus), sophomore Riley Block (Hopatcong, N.J./ Morris Catholic) and junior Kailey Stocker (Ringwood, N.J./ Lakeland Regional) each scored twice to lead the Lycoming College women's lacrosse team, as it fell to Muhlenberg College, 21-7, on Monday, March 25 at Varsity Field in non-conference play.

Muhlenberg (8-1 overall) scored eight goals to start the game before Block put up the first Warrior goal in the first period with 2:11 remaining. Maguire and Block each scored unassisted tallies in the second quarter.

After the Warriors (4-3 overall) didn't score in the third quarter, they outscored the Mules, 4-3 in the final quarter. Stocker put her 12th and 13th goals of the season in the fourth period, both of which were assisted by junior Alexa Baldwin (Bel Air, Md./ Harford Tech).

Muhlenberg was led by Nicole Steiner with six goals. Lily Seifert led the Mules with seven assists and three goalkeepers made an appearance totaling five saves and facing 19 shots.

Block led the Warriors with two draw controls and both sophomore Autumn Shahan (Wilmington, Del./Wilmington Charter) and senior Alyssa Zorbaugh (York, Pa./West York) each had three groundballs.

Senior Zoe Stauffer (Lititz, Pa./ Warwick) faced 38 shots, making 10 saves.

The Warriors will be back on the field Wednesday, March 27, as they visit Immaculata University at 4 p.m. for a non-conference game.
