LEBANON, Pa. - First-year Will Eberz (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) shot a 14-over-par 86 to lead the Lycoming College golf team in its opening round of the spring season, as he finished 51st at the Lebanon Valley Invitational at the par-72, 6,562-yard Lebanon Country Club on Monday, March 25. 

 

The Warriors posted a 370 to finish 15th. Albright won the tiebreaker with Hood after both carded a 311 as a team. Will Kujawa and Tanner Leonard of Hood tied for first with an even-par 72 to earn medalist honors. 

 

Eberz birdied the par-5, 499-yard 10th hole and carded five pars during the round. 

 

Sophomore Kyle Davis (Liberty, Pa./North Penn-Liberty) finished 71st in the field of 88, posting a 19-over-par 91, as he notched five pars during the round. First-year Mikey Fry (Muncy, Pa./Muncy) fired a 94, posting four pars, and first-year Ross Eyer (Muncy, Pa./Muncy) carded a 99 in his first career round, notching two pars in his round.  

 

The Warriors are back in action on Friday, March 29, when they head to Penn State D3 Classic for an 11 a.m. tee off at the Penn State Golf Course Blue Course.
