WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Junior Katie Maguire (Garnerville, N.Y./Albertus Magnus) and sophomore Riley Block (Hopatcong, N.J./ Morris Catholic) led the Lycoming College women's lacrosse team with all five goals as it fell to the Catholic University of America, 21-5, in Landmark Conference play on Saturday, March 23 at UPMC Field.

Maguire notched three goals and added five draw controls and Block had two goals, an assist and four draw controls against the preseason conference favorites.

The Warriors (4-2 overall, 0-1 Landmark) put up two goals in the second period of the game and their final three in the fourth period. Catholic University (2-5 overall, 1-0 Landmark) scored 17 goals in the first half.

Izzy Fiore led the Cardinals with five goals, while Mia Perkell added four goals and an assist. Jessie Lee added a goal , three assists and four draw controls. Goalkeeper Lauren Davidson faced 12 shots and made five saves, adding three caused turnovers.

Senior Zoe Stauffer (Lititz, Pa./ Warwick) faced 41 shots and made 11 saves for the Warriors. Stauffer also led the team with four groundballs.

The Warriors will be back in action on Monday, March 25, as they face Muhlenberg College in non-conference play at 4 p.m., in Allentown, Pa.
