OLEAN, N.Y. – The Lycoming College men's tennis team returned to the courts, starting its spring season with an 8-1 setback at  Alfred University,  on Thursday, March 21, at the St Bonaventure's Tennis Center.

Senior Luke Leach (Middlebury Center, Pa./ Wellsboro Area) earned the lone point for the Warriors, beating Mike Roberts, 2-6, 6-4, 11-9, in comeback fashion.

The Warriors fell to 2-2 overall and Alfred improved to 2-1.

The Warriors will be back on the court on Saturday, March 23, as they open Landmark Conference play against Elizabethtown College at 12 p.m.
