Danny DeLucas (Whittier, Calif./La Serna) led a group of five Lycoming College baseball players to post a multi-hit game as he went 4-for-6 with two RBI, but Albright College left a Lycoming runner stranded at second base to escape with a 9-8 non-conference win on Monday, March 11.

Nick Reeder (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area) went 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBI, sophomore
Zachary Pleska (Salem, Ohio/Columbiana) went 3-for-5 with a run, a triple and two RBI, first-year
Eric MacCluen (Downingtown, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) went 2-for-5 and sophomore
Jack Kelly (Alexandria, Va./Alexandria City) went 2-for-4 with a run and a double.

The Warriors (3-7 overall) scored two in the top of the first, with Reeder walking, stealing second, taking third on a flyout and scoring on a two-out error that allowed junior
Evan Mok (Daly City, Calif./St. Ignatius) to reach. Mok scored on a single by Pleska. In the second inning, Reeder singled again, stole second and scored on a single from DeLucas to make it, 3-0.

Albright (3-2 overall) fought back with four in the third and two in the fifth, but Lycoming kept it close, closing within a run in the sixth. Senior
Joey Trout (North East, Md./Saint Elizabeth) walked with one out, reached third on a double by Kelly and scored on a two-RBI single from Reeder.

After Albright scored three in the bottom of the sixth to make it 9-5, Mok reached on an error to start the seventh, setting up a RBI triple from Pleska. Another error allowed him to score. The Warriors left runners stranded at second and third in the seventh and eighth, but closed within a run in the ninth. Kelly walked with two outs before Reeder and DeLucas singled to bring him around, but a pop-up ended the threat.

Brendan Stuhltrag had three runs and two RBI and Roman Berretta had a hit and three RBI to lead the Lions. Jack Gilmer went 2-for-3 with three runs, as the three players accounted for four of the team's six hits.

Dominic Yeager (1-1) earned the win, allowing five hits and two runs in 3 1 /3 innings. He walked one and struck out four. Patrick Ahearn earned the save as he induced a popout to end the game. Sophomore
Jake Wilber (Toms River, N.J./Toms River South) (0-3) pitched 4 1/3 innings, allowing three hits, four walks and four earned runs. He struck out two.

The Warriors are back on the field on Tuesday, March 12, when they head to fifth-ranked Salisbury University for a 3:30 p.m. start.
