WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Lycoming College men's soccer junior Thomas Geyer (Havre De Grace, Md. / Harford Tech) earned 2024 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Men's Soccer Team honors, the organization announced.
Geyer started all 20 games that he played in, notching a goal that helped Lycoming beat Mount Aloysius on Sept. 4. He also posted assists against Goucher, Wilkes and Drew.
Geyer also helped on the scoring play in the Warriors' 1-1 draw at Scranton in the Landmark Conference Championship first round, sending the pass in before it was hipped over to goal-scorer Christian Woobay.
Eligible student-athletes must classify as at least a sophomore academically and carry a 3.50 minimum cumulative grade-point average. Additionally, the student-athletes must have competed in 90 percent of the institution's games/contests/sets played or have started in at least 66 percent of the games/contests/sets throughout the season.
The 2024 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, which are selected by the College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
The No. 5-seeded Lycoming College men's soccer team finished the season 10-5-5 under first-year head coach John Schwien, reaching the Landmark Conference Championship First Round, the third straight year the team made the postseason.
