Drew Paxson scored the lone goal of the game in the 28th minute, heading in a free kick from Alex Kozdron for the Royals (5-2-4 overall, 2-0-1 Landmark), who were regionally-ranked in the first four United Soccer Coaches' Region V polls.

The Warriors finished with 14 shots to the Royals' seven and held a 6-5 advantage in corner kicks, while Scranton drew three more fouls in the game.

Charlie Smith notched 10 saves for the Royals in the shutout. First-year Jace Bennett (Falling Waters, W.Va./Spring Mills) had three saves for the Warriors.
