BETHlEHEM, Pa. - In the last ten minutes of the game, first-year Jace Bennett (Falling Waters, W.Va. / Spring Mills) saved two shots from Moravian University to help the Lycoming College men's soccer team secure a 0-0 draw in Landmark Conference action on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 12, at John Makuvek Field.
Bennett saved three shots in the game, as Lycoming (7-3-3 overall, 2-1-1 Landmark) secured its sixth shutout of the season.
The Warriors accumulated six shots and three corners to Moravian's 13 shot attempts and seven corners.
Senior Kenny Clapp (Baltimore, Md. / Archbishop Curley) and junior Keller Chamovitz (Sewickley, Pa. / Quaker Valley) each notched two shots to lead the Warriors' offense.
Max Teneza led Moravian (6-2-4 overall, 2-0-2 Landmark Conference) with three shot attempts. Keeper Casey Prajzner secured four saves.
The Warriors hit the road for Huntingdon, Pa., on Wednesday, Oct. 16, to compete in Landmark Conference play against Juniata College at 7 p.m.
