TOWSON, Md. – Senior
Brynne Bisel (Julian, Pa./Bald Eagle Area) led the Lycoming College volleyball team with 10 kills and 10 digs for her ninth double-double of the season as Lycoming swept Goucher College, 3-0 (25-17, 25-22, 25-9), in Landmark Conference action at Decker Sports and Recreation Center on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 5.

Bisel was one of four Warriors (7-9 overall, 1-1 Landmark) to finish with five or more kills, with junior
Cameron Upcraft (Spring Mills, Pa./Penns Valley) adding eight kills, three aces and four blocks and senior
Camryn Quelet (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) and first-year
Angela Farnham (La Plata, Md./McDonough) each adding five kills. Farnham also added two blocks.

Kendall Myers (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity) posted five aces, sophomore
Haley Balgavy (Warrenton, Va./Kettle Run) posted 20 assists and six digs and sophomore
Ima Mercado (Mifflintown, Pa./Juniata) added 13 assists and four digs. Senior
Ali Koval (Mansfield, Pa./North Penn-Mansfield) added 17 digs.

Lycoming hit .214 (36-12-112) and held Goucher (0-13 overall, 0-2 Landmark) to a .060 (28-21-117) hitting percentage, also posting 11 aces and seven blocks in the three-set match.

Lycoming held Goucher to a negative hitting percentage in the first and third sets, but needed to mount a comeback from down 19-17 in the second, as sophomore
Alli Macensky (Galeton, Pa./Galeton Area) served up five straight points before Bisel added two more on her serve to give Lycoming a 24-20 lead en route to the 25-22 victory.

Alex Dzhygit led the Gophers with seven kills, Vivian Huddleston posted 15 assists and Athena Savick posted 24 digs.
