WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Junior
Cameron Upcraft (Spring Mills, Pa./Penns Valley) notched 10 kills to go with five blocks to lead the Lycoming College volleyball team, which fought through 25 ties and 16 lead changes as Susquehanna University managed a 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-22) Landmark Conference win at Lamade Gym on Friday night, Oct. 11.

Four players finished with more than six kills for the Warriors (7-10 overall, 1-2 Landmark), with senior
Brynne Bisel (Julian, Pa./Bald Eagle Area) notched eight kills and 12 digs, senior
Jessica Ahart (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown Area) added seven kills and senior
Arianna Santos (Oxford, Pa./Oxford Area) notched six.

Sophomore
Haley Balgavy (Warrenton, Va./Kettle Run) posted 15 assists, three aces and seven digs and sophomore
Ima Mercado (Mifflintown, Pa./Juniata) added 12 assists and two aces. Senior
Kendall Myers (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity) notched three aces and senior
Ali Koval (Mansfield, Pa./North Penn-Mansfield) notched 18 digs, moving with eight of becoming the fifth player in program history to reach 1,400 in a career.

Lycoming fell behind 8-4 in the first set before tying it at nine. Susquehanna (12-7 overall, 3-0 Landmark) ran out to a six-point lead, but Lycoming had closed within three late at 21-18 before Susquehanna won the last four points of the set.

The teams went through 22 ties and 15 lead changes in the next two sets, with the River Hawks pulling ahead late in each.

Amanda Gore notched 13 kills and Emily Kowalski added 12 for the River Hawks. Keira Roach posted 38 assists and 12 digs and Jessica Sack had 17 digs.

The Warriors are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 12, when they host Elizabethtown College in a 2 p.m. Landmark Conference match.
