WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - A season in which the Lycoming College field hockey team won a program record eight games in just its third year since being reinstated after a 30-year absence ended on Tuesday night, Oct. 29, the team fell just short of one of the six Landmark Conference Championship spots after a 4-0 setback against 25th-ranked Scranton at UPMC Field.

Isabella Bobé (York Springs, Pa. / Bermudian Springs) posted 18 saves for the Warriors (8-9 overall, 3-6 Landmark). Bobé saved 10 shots in the first two quarters and added eight saves in the last two. With 18 saves against Scranton, Bobé finished the year with a career high with 187 saves this season.
Bobé secured a .842 save percentage, which is 10
th in Division III, during the season, and her 11.00 saves per game is 13th in the nation. Both marks are tops in the Landmark Conference.
Lycoming had one shot and penalty corner in the contest.
Scranton's Shana Goldsmith scored two goals in the first quarter, and in the second quarter, Maggie Keys added one off a penalty corner. Scranton's last goal came from a successful penalty stroke by Lauren Franco in the 57th minute.
Gianna Travia earned the win in net for Scranton (16-3 overall, 7-2 Landmark Conference).
