MADISON, N.J. - Sophomore Mikayla Long (Lewisburg, Pa. / Lewisburg Area) posted three goals for the Lycoming College women's soccer in the first half, leading Lycoming to a key 3-1 victory against Drew in Landmark Conference play on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 26, as the team set a program record with its 13th win of the season.
The 2022 team previously held the record with 12 wins, as Lycoming improved to 13-2-3 overall and 5-1-2 in the Landmark Conference, two points ahead of Elizabethtown with one game remaining in the conference schedule, a faceoff against each other on Saturday, Nov. 2, at UPMC Field at 1 p.m. The winner of that game will earn a bye into the semifinals of the following week's six-team Landmark Conference Championship. With a tie, several tiebreakers could come into play.
Lycoming is set to make its first appearance in the Landmark Conference Championship since joining the league in 2023 and making a postseason appearance for just the second time in program history, joining the 2022 team.
