SHAWNEE-ON-DELAWARE, Pa. – Sophomore Will Eberz (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg Area) posted a first round 8-over-par 80 to kick off the Landmark Conference Fall Preview at the par-72, 6,714-yard Shawnee Country Club to lead the Lycoming College golf team on Saturday morning, Oct. 26.
 
Eberz finished the day in a tie for 22^nd in the 44-golfer field, two strokes back of 12^th place and eight strokes behind the leader, Elizabethtown's John Harrison, who shot even par.
 
Eberz had two birdies – on the par-5, 510-yard No. 3 and the par-3, 177-yard No. 16 – to go with nine pars and five bogeys during the round, notching a 3-over-par 39 on the back nine.
 
Sophomore Mikey Fry (Muncy, Pa./Muncy Area) shot a 19-over-par 91 in his first round. He had five pars and seven bogeys in his round.
 
The Warriors tee off on the second round of the tournament at 8 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26, at Shawnee Country Club.
