Kenny Clapp (Baltimore, Md./Archbishop Curley) scored on a beautiful one-timer right before halftime for the Lycoming College men's soccer team, but Wilkes University was able to post a 2-1 Landmark Conference win on Wednesday night, Oct. 23, at Schmidt Stadium.

The Warriors (7-5-4 overall, 2-3-2 Landmark) earned a corner late in the first half and quickly put the ball in play before junior
Owen Magee (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) fired a pass to Clapp near the six. Clapp took one touch and then fired into the right corner.

Wilkes (4-13-1 overall, 1-6 Landmark) tied the game on a penalty kick and scored off a corner with one second left in regulation from Joseph Jackson.

Jace Bennett (Falling Waters, W.Va./Spring Mills) finished with one save and Wilkes' Matthew Conti had seven.

The Warriors outshot the Colonels, 27-8, and held a 13-3 advantage in corner kicks.
